We encourage our members to make full use of their membership status by joining in the fun at our events throughout the year. Friends and families from other groups in NSW, and even people who are not associated with any club or group, are also more than welcome to join in at SCNSW events. For further information regarding any event, please contact the SCNSW via firstname.lastname@example.org.

Dear members and friends,

Virtual Swiss National Day Celebration
Happy Swiss National Day | Glücklicher Schweizer Bundesfeiertag | Bonne Fête Nationale Suisse | Buona Festa Nazionale Svizzera | Bun Festa Naziunala Svizra 🇨🇭🥳
Many traditional 1. August events that the Swiss community in Australia and worldwide normally organises cannot take place this year due to COVID-19.
In light of these restrictions, 1. August this year will be celebrated in an unprecidented way―in virtual format―as all Swiss in the world can unite and share Swiss National Day together online.
Our very own, Consul General of Switzerland in Sydney, Mrs Bernadette Hunkeler-Brown invites all Swiss living in Australia to visit www.missione1agosto.org. This multilingual and interactive website is for all fellow Swiss and friends of Switzerland around the world. There, you can learn how to yodel, how to make your very own 1. August lantern, or how to throw the Swiss flag. Join the Swiss community and share the celebration online today!
For a more local Swiss National Day experience, the Council of the Swiss Abroad (CSA) Oceania, are also hosting a virtual Swiss National Day. The CSA Oceania invite everyone to log onto their website www.csa-oceania.org or visit their Facebook page for special National Day contributions and messages from around Australia and Switzerland! 🇨🇭
