SWISS GROUPS IN NSW
The Swiss Club of NSW is an active and supportive club and we offer our members access to information regarding all Swiss interest groups in NSW. It is important to maintain ties with other Swiss groups in order to provide an interesting and enriched cultural experience for our members and wider Swiss community. We aim to keep Swiss traditions and culture alive in Australia and perhaps create a few of our own on the way. For more information just click on the links of any of the groups below.
Swiss Community Care Society
The SCCS caters for elderly Swiss living in Sydney. They offer many activities including bushwalks, luncheons and other social gatherings. This is a fantastic way for elderly Swiss to reconnect with the community in ways that are enjoyable and care-free. The Swiss Club has strong ties with the SCCS and offers discounts for members at events.

Cercle Romand Sydney
The purpose of Le Cercle Romand Sydney is to establish and maintain contact among the French-speaking population, as well as maintain the use of French. The majority of members, Swiss and non-Swiss, speak French. The Committee schedules an annual events calendar, which includes activities such as Raclette, fondue evenings, picnics, hiking, skating, bowling, and weekend camping.

Swiss Folksdance Group Alpegruess
The main purpose of the The Swiss Folkdance Group Alpegruess is to share with others the Swiss culture of folk dancing, which is very wide spread in Switzerland. The group generally performs three to four times per year for the enjoyment of the Swiss community and at relevant European festivals and celebrations. One of the strengths of the group are the social events that bring them together to enjoy each other’s company even at a time when they are not madly rehearsing.

Swiss Yodelers of Sydney
The Swiss Yodelers of Sydney are a folk singing group who are keen on keeping traditional Swiss music and songs alive so that all generations can enjoy the art of yodelling. They provide instructions, courses, concerts at Swiss events, and also enter Switzerland’s International Yodelling Festival every year.

Swiss Entrepreneurs Australia
The purpose of the Swiss Entrepreneurs Australia is for small business operators to meet fellow Swiss business professionals, exchange contacts, share experiences and speak some Schwyzerdütsch, Français or Italiano. It is a great opportunity to promote businesses to other Swiss living in Australia or talk about business ideas with other entrepreneurs in a relaxed atmosphere.
