SWISS INTEREST GROUPS

The Swiss Club of NSW is an active and supportive club and we offer our members access to information regarding all Swiss interest groups in NSW. It is important to maintain ties with other Swiss groups in order to provide an interesting and enriched cultural experience for our members and wider Swiss community.

Swiss Community Care Society

The aim of the Swiss Community Care Society is to provide assistance and support to needy Swiss families and individuals and to facilitate contacts for lonely and senior members of the Swiss community and people of Swiss-Australian background. They offer many activities including bushwalks, luncheons and other social gatherings.

Cercle Romand Sydney

The aim of The Cercle Romand is to establish and maintain contact amongst Swiss French and keep the French language alive. They offer activities including raclette picnics, fondue dinners, pétanque, walks, weekend camping trips, and more.

Swiss Yodlers of Sydney

The Swiss Yodlers of Sydney are a collective of enthusiastic male and female Singers, who either can yodel or just enjoy singing traditional Swiss Song and Yodel Compositions from the old home country Switzerland.

Swiss Entrepreneurs Sydney

The aim of the Swiss Entrepreneurs Sydney is to focus on small business operators in Australia to benefit from their monthly meetings which are enjoyable and useful for business ventures. These events aim to provide a platform for fellow Swiss business professionals to exchange contacts, share experiences and speak some Schwyzerdütsch, Français or Italiano.

Swiss Jassers of Sydney

The aim of the Swiss Jassers of Sydney is to provide keen Jass players a space to play with fellow card enthusiasts. New players are welcome to join and learn how to play this Swiss national game from experienced players. They meet every Monday night at Pymble Hotel on the Pacific Highway from 18:30.

Swiss Folksdance Group Alpegruess

The aim of the Swiss Folkdance Group Alpegruess is to share the Swiss culture of folk dancing and bring enthusiasts of folksdance together to enjoy each other’s company even at a time when they are not madly rehearsing. The group performs a few times a year for the enjoyment of the Swiss community and at relevant European festivals.
